PIX, TUDO O QUE VOCÊ PRECISA SABER

PIX é o novo meio de pagamento do Banco Central. Ele promete facilitar transferências bancárias, pagamentos de contas e realização de compras. Além disso, as transações serão instantâneas e poderão ser realizadas a qualquer do dia hora pelo celular. Adicionalmente, o serviço funcionará 24h por dia e 7 dias por semana incluindo feriados. Entretando, o PIX não se trata de uma conta que você abre em uma determinada instituição. Ele será um meio de pagamento que você utilizará a partir de qualquer conta já aberta e ativa. O recurso será disponível para todo o sistema bancário e não terá custos. Observe, que os clientes de qualquer instituição financeira só precisarão cadastrar uma chave digital. A partir de então, o serviço ficará disponível para uso a partir de Novembro de 2020.

AS OPERAÇÕES ATUAIS

Hoje, o sistema financeiro brasileiro disponibiliza meios de pagamento e transferências como TED, DOC, boleto, cartão de débito e crédito. Mas, todos esses recursos são pagos e limitados ao horário comercial. Além do mais, as operações bancárias atuais demoram de 1 a 3 dias úteis. Ainda mais, transações como DOC, por exemplo, tem um limite diário de R$ 4.999,00. Por outro lado, com o PIX, as pessoas poderão fazer transferências e pagamentos imediatos a qualquer hora do dia ou da semana sem custos e sem limites de valor.

O que é preciso pra usar o PIX?

Nos dias atuais, você informa vários dados para fazer uma transferência ou pagamento. Com a nova tecnologia, as informações se resumem a uma “chave de endereçamento”, ou seja, uma única informação. Essa chave poderá ser o número de celular, e-mail, CPF ou mesmo um código aleatório gerado pela instituição financeira. Finalmente, para fazer o registro da chave, basta o cliente acessar sua conta e escolher qual dado irá utilizar como chave. Contudo, para cada conta será necessária uma chave de identificação exclusiva.

Quando começa o PIX?

05 de Outubro: Início do Cadastro das Chaves.
03 de Novembro: Restrita ao PIX.
16 de novembro: Lançamento para toda a população.
Por enquanto, essa operação será apenas nacional. Eventualmente, o PIX fará transferências internacionais a partir de 2022 ou 2023. Informou João Manoel Pinho de Mello, Diretor de Organização Financeira do Banco Central.

É SEGURO USAR O PIX?

Todo processo é digital, sendo assim, essa transação é criptografada pelo Banco Central. Em suma, você informa a sua chave PIX sem passar os seus dados bancários. Assim sendo, a chave é apenas identificada pelo sistema.
